A Midwife to those Ready to Rebirth their Truest SELVES
Most bios start with a list of qualifications, and while I have plenty of those, life has been my most profound teacher. So, instead of titles and accolades, let me share a few of the powerful lessons I've gathered along the way.
I was born to a young mom who worked tirelessly on a waitress' salary, raising three kids while navigating her own struggles. From an early age, life brought hard lessons. I endured years of childhood sexual abuse, struggled with eating disorders, and battled chronic asthma. I was the kid at sports day, an inhaler bouncing on a string around my neck, gasping for air as I tried to keep up. I was told that asthma was simply my "lot" in life-but over time, I came to realize how deeply our emotions are woven into our physical health. And by embracing this connection, I began to heal, transforming both my lungs and my outlook in ways I'd never thought possible.
At 22, I took a leap that changed everything. I retired from my job as a librarian, bought a one-way ticket overseas, and threw myself into the world. I traveled through 23 countries that once only existed on my vision board, each one revealing new pieces of myself. At 23, I faced a near-death experience after being stung by bees, a moment that taught me just how precious this life really is, even when it feels impossibly hard. Traveling also allowed me to face my deepest fears-earning my Advanced Open Water diving license, reframing my relationship with oxygen that had once symbolized limits but now revealed worlds beneath the sea. I paraglided in Turkey, tackling my fear of heights, and even worked through a crippling phobia of highways. Step by step, using tools that now help thousands of my clients, I learned to stay calm, drive at my own pace, and navigate my own lane in life. Confronting my abuser and choosing to forgive, not for them but for my own freedom, became one of the most powerful tools I would ever know.
Against all odds, I found a partner who restored my faith in love-a man as kind and steady as he is strong. Together, we've built a life I once only dreamed of. I had two beautiful, unmedicated water births at home, welcoming our two incredible children, Phoenix-Ryder and Griffin-Khaya. We bought a homestead, Dragonwood, where we grow our food, live in tune with the seasons, and are raising our children to see the beauty of a life rooted in nature. We've even started a gourmet mushroom farm, finding fulfillment in working with the land and living sustainably.
From a young age, I sensed my calling to help others transform old stories and create lives in alignment with their true selves. This passion led me to found Life Aligned Academy, where I guide people back to their authenticity, helping them rediscover the joy and meaning that life has to offer. For over a decade, I've dedicated myself to collecting powerful modalities that transform the mental, emotional, and physical aspects of our being. From a diploma in advanced metaphysics to a Master's in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, to certifications in clinical hypnotherapy, somatic therapy, inner child healing, and belief clearing-I've explored a world of knowledge to help people release limiting patterns. Though I don't have a formal degree in it, I am obsessed with neuroscience and quantum physics, which have deepened my understanding of how we shape and are shaped by our realities.
Some of my favorite things? Sunflowers, for how they remind me to keep facing the light; the laughter of my children; the rhythm of sustainable living; finding beauty in the mundane; and the joy of learning something new. I'm so excited to connect with you, and I can't wait to walk beside you as you leave behind outdated patterns and create a life that is fully your own.
